Cuphead DLC will hit the gaming consoles and PC in 2020: Reports

At first, we came to know about Cuphead’s The Delicious Last Course DLC during E3 2018, and at that time there were reports that the DLC will be released somewhere in 2019. Though we have already passed half of 2019, indie developer StudioMDHR has now announced that the Cuphead’s forthcoming DLC will now be released in 2020. The DLC will arrive on Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One, StudioMDHR added.

Recently, the indie developer released a 30-second teaser which showed a “cornucupia” of new features. These features included “playable character Ms. Chalice and her slick double jump” and also included “abilities to acquire and enemies to slaughter, and levels and environments ripe for exploration.” All these things are covered in an iconic 1903s art style. To get a real feel of the game, you can watch the trailer now.

Our news sources have reported that StudioMDHR at the end of 2018 reported that the game, which is an acclaimed run-and-gun platformer faced more than 3 million sales figures on Xbox One and PC. These figures were provided by the reports prior to the game faced its Nintendo Switch debut in April 2019 with Xbox Live support. There are even reports that Cuphead will also launch Tesla vehicles sometime this summer.

In our Cuphead review, we said, “It’s an intense action game that pulls no punches. It could benefit from a few tweaks, and two-player co-op doesn’t feel like the valuable addition you might imagine, but Cuphead remains a rare, unique game that truly stands out.”
